I feel like I can count on one hand the harbourside restaurants in Sydney that are equal parts beautiful and good value. As a general rule of you have found a restaurant on our beautiful foreshore you pay through the nose and for a meal that seriously falls short on offerings further inland.

Am excited to report that the new menu at the recently revamped and renovated Watson’s Bay Beach Club has made a day beside the seaside a seriously enjoyable occasion on all fronts.

Between Doyles and the Watsons Bay Hotel a fish and chip meal would feel like a serious rip off that only an out of towner would fall for.

Now the seats at this new restaurant are going to be even more difficult to secure with an incredible new menu, great service and sunny atmosphere. Have only visited once so far but am keen on a ferry ride back on the next free sunny Sunday.
I have ordered a generous and scrumptious whole baby snapper served with pepperonata. Gorgeous!

Sous chef has taken a more traditional route opting for the Fish & Chips. Golden crispy flathead with the most incredible, fresh chips. Fabulous!

This place is so great, such a crowd pleaser and such a serious improvement on the previous restaurant that you will probably never get a table for the whole of summer.
Get in if and while you can.
